    Astro Hutech are showing the return of the 1.25" Masuyama eyepieces.
    These are the ones many copied and called super plossls in the 90s.

    Though Hutech calls them Plossl in the article they are actually a variation of the Zeiss Astroplanar design.
    These are superb eyepieces and if you are looking for some very good all round eyepieces, I would recommend them.
    Once available I will be purchasing the set.

    I am not sure of the 2 barlows offered as they are new items, hopefully they will be as good as the eyepieces.

    The pricing from Hutech was announced and they are between $179-189 USD depending on focal length.
    The barlows are $125 USD.

    I wonder if Agena will start to stock these or if Hutech will be the lone retailer.

    I just got my new Celestron 2x barlow for a whopping $5.

    A good price for a fairly decent barlow.
    I do not need another one as I have enough already but it would be interesting to try one out for comparison.

    I have been chatting with a astro supplier in Czech Republic that I have known for some years and he may be loaning me a set of the 31.7 mm 53° AFOV eyepieces in January!!
    Hopefully they are as good as the original eyepieces. If so I may have to sell some more equipment.

    Sounds great. If the eyepieces don’t work, you can use them for cookie cutters,

    I do not think he would like them returned filled with dough...
    Besides, 32 mm is much to small for a cookie.
    They should be at least 100 mm across :)
