Manufacturer Description

The Vixen LV Zoom Eyepiece is a premium zoom eyepiece for medium to low power applications. The eyepiece offers an apparent field ranging from 40° at 24mm to 60° at 8mm. The zoom ring is aluminum and grooved for a secure grip. The 1.25" diameter barrel is chrome plated and incorporates a wide safety grove.

All air to glass lens surfaces are fully multi-coated and lens edges are blackened for maximum contrast. The inside of the eyepiece is matte black to minimize internal reflections and the mounting barrel is threaded to accept standard 1.25" filters. Weight = 7.9oz. Made in Japan.

      5.0 Cost less than the best, but performs!

      Want a zoom that doesn’t break the bank, but performs like the top of the line zooms? This is it. Great eye relief and no crazy reflections like the cheapie zooms.

      5.0 An Excellent Zoom

      The Vixen LV zoom is compact and well made with excellent optical performance. I use it primarily in a Lunt LS50THa where it spends most of its time between 8 and 12mm. A zoom is a good way to adjust for optimum balance between magnification and exit pupil.
