I recently picked up this TeleVue 15mm widefield made in Japan eyepiece. Wanting a lightweight 1.25" eyepiece for my smaller scopes, but not wanting to pay Panoptic price, this eyepiece fit the bill!! With comfortable eyerelief, it produced very sharp images right across the generous 65 degree FOV in my Antares 812GP refractor. I was very delighted in how this grand old eyepiece performed. As with all TeleVue eyepieces I have used, this being no exception, it combines high quality craftsmanship as well as its optics. You can tell a good eyepiece, it gives you the sensation that nothing is hindering your view. If you are in the market for a very high quality medium power widefield eyepiece with out breaking the bank, keep an eye open for one of these on the used market. I can highly recommend this eyepiece. It has performed very well in my 16" F6.5 dob as well as the SCT and refractor. Bob Midiri
