Product Info
Manufacturer Description
The 1.25" Enhanced Aluminum mirror coating provides a 96% reflective surface across all but the extreme ends of the visual spectrum. The enhanced coating provides extra reflectance versus competing standard aluminum coatings. The final coating stage applies a tough overcoat to protect the aluminum. The diagonal body has the same features as the Everbrite. All diagonals feature brass clamp rings and filter threads. The Enhanced Aluminum diagonals are good budget alternatives, especially where a prism diagonal might otherwise be considered.

Very clear.
Pros: Cons: Comments:I bought this for use with my new William Optics Zenithstar 61 scope. It does a great job. The views are crystal clear. I have other cheaper/stock diagonals from other scopes and there IS a difference. The image through this is just plain clearer.

Jun 17, 2017Tele Vue star diagonal
Pros: Cons: Comments:I wanted to upgrade some optical accessories for some older Celestron SCT telescopes, and with my experiences with Tele Vue Optics I decided this was the way to go. Optically it is superb as expected, but my main issue with other star diagonals which have the compression ring and set screw is that the eyepieces get kind of 'hung up' when inserting them. With this diagonal, there is no such trouble. It is extremely well made and finished, again as expected. To me, well worth the cost of admission.

Mar 13, 2017TeleVue Enhanced 1 1/4" Diagonal
Pros: Cons: Comments:This diagonal performs quite well on close doubles where the primary greatly outshines the smaller companion. It gives slightly less light scatter than other diagonals which lets me see the fainter star. The other night I was probably seeing the " Pup" next to Sirius when the atmosphere calmed down with a high quality 80 mm refractor.
