The primary springs that come with the Meade Lightbridge tends to be a little weak for the 10" model but there are sets of stiffer springs available that will come to the rescue. One set is from Bob's Knobs but I got a similar set by Scopestuff. These are also available with replacement collimation knobs but since my primary came with knobs I just ordered the springs. They are thicker and considerable stiffer than the originals. When installed they really changed the feel when collimating, it is like the difference between driving on flat tires and inflated ones. I would recommend these springs especially considering the Lightbridge will have to be collimated each time after assembly.
