Fujinon FMT-SX 10x70

Very sharp, very clear image, very bright, easy to look through, very good build quality.

Visible but manageable blackout problem.

I have Fuji 10x70 FMT-SX binos. I bought my pair about seven years ago. Before my purchase, I was reading lot of facts and user opinions. My first impression, when I took my Fujis out of the bag was that this was a really instrument, not a toy. Looking through these binos is very enjoyable. It gives very very bright and clear images.

I am a amateur, not a professional astronomer, so I can only tell what I see with my own eyes. I like the independent focusing(once focused upward to sky, and that's it). Focusing is very smooth and accurate. Eye lenses are about one inches diameter and eye relief is 26mm. There is, as I knew in advance, a black out effect, but when you get the right distance adjusted between eye lenses, looking through is very easy. Just lift the Fujis on your eyes and you can see whole field of view. I can look through these for long times without stressing my eyes. Image is also very sharp, and my opinion is that there aren't much "wrong" colors. I keep buying, selling and using many astronomical equipments, but Fujis I will keep forever. I strongly recommended these to everybody who is planning to buy binocs in this size - you should try these.
