Telrad: can't live without it!Pros: Cons: Comments:
An extra base makes it easy to move my Telrad from one 'scope to another. For a week or two I used my new telescope without the Telrad and missed it sorely.

Multi Scopes Now PossiblePros: Cons: Comments:
I had never used a Telerad before and now I have 2. The extra bases are on my most used scopes so I can move the sights around.
Going to be a great viewing year.

Extra telrad basePros: Cons: Comments:
Not really a lot to say: its an extra Telrad base so you can use on your Telrad on additional telescopes. Just need to recenter the target to match the eyepiece target.

Multiple telescopes one TelradPros: Cons: Comments:
I recently picked up another telescope. They do seem to accumulate once you embrace the hobby. I prefer the Telrad for pointing better than an optical finder. If I'm only going to use one scope at a time why not move the Terad from scope to scope. Easy, peasy

Mounting Base for TelradPros: Cons: Comments:
Excellent and inexpensive product. Will allow you to use your Telrad finder on different telescopes. Once it is stuck on there, good luck trying to take it off again! It's a pretty permanent installation. Very strong tape.

Tip on easy way to remove baseplate from telescopePros:
Quality Lenses,Compact,Accurate,Strong Construction,Easy to Use,LightweightCons: Comments:
I had two of these base plates on my C8 and when I sold it I wanted to remove them a simple way easy and clean way to remove them is just to use dental floss'... took of a piece of dental floss, tied to loops in the ends , slipped in marking pens for handles and then just slip it under the end of the base plate and saw back-and-forth gently pressing down on the tube ... and it comes off cleanly and quickly... there's a little bit of adhesive of left on the tube but that's very easy to remove with a plastic spoon or even your fingernail just scrape gently ....

Telrad baseplates work greatPros:
Lightweight,Strong Construction,Easy to Use,Quality Lenses,AccurateCons: Comments:
These base plates are easy to mount on rings or telescope tubes I prefer mounting them on a ring because I don't like sticking it on the telescope tube ... if I put it on SCT I just remove maybe 1 inch from each end of the sticky stuff and then press it against the edge of the rear mirror cell so I get a perfect 90

Essential Equipment,Easy to UseCons: Comments:
On my dob, the Telrad is essential equipment, helping to find objects quickly and easily! So why not use a telrad on my 25x100 binoculars? So after purchasing an extra base and doing a little MacGyvering, I'm now using the telrad on my giant binoculars. Agena Astro Products is always the first place I look for this kind of stuff!

Simple design & great performancePros:
This product works great. I like the included mounting holes in addition to the two sided tape, as I usually bolt the base to the scope for a stronger mounting.

Cheap base for excelent finderPros:
Easy to change among scopCons: Comments:
I ordered this base to use my telrad in more than one telescope, it arrived with metal screws, better tah the plastic ones I recieved on the original Telrad.
It is very easy to change the telrad from scope to scope.
