This 32mm eyepiece was shipped fast, great communication, easy site to navigate and a great price. I was again very happy with my dealings with Agena and I do recommend them to you. I live in Australia so a great international transaction!

      5.0 wow...

      Pros:

      Cons:

      Comments:

I live in a very light polluted area , yet I love astronomy so I'm learning to battle the bright LED lights. My telescope is an f/15 Mak , which is a superb optical instrument made in Russia. i've been trying to find a good "low power" (2250/32= 71x) eyepiece for this telescope ... this is definitely it .... I think the performance is better than panoptic 35 or 27 (of course the manufacturing quality on the more expensive pans is higher but fchoose this eyepiece... unbelievable rich starfield views , even from my light polluted area the sky is black , stars are pinpoint across the field , it also Barlows very good to provide beautiful view of Saturn... it shows fainter stars with better contrast.... I was looking at M11 (the wild duck cluster) and this is the best view I've ever had of any star cluster .... unbelievable .... hundreds (a thousand ?)of delicate pinpoint stars , it looks 3-D with the brighter foreground stars fading into another dimension.... i I have owned most of the explore scientific 82° eyepieces, the 68s, and three of the 100° ES eyepieces .... it seems each series uses different kinds of coatings and has its own personality .... I was very pleased with the high contrast coatings on this eyepiece.... unlike high contrast filters which block out faint stars, this ep also has the best transmission of starlight as well as high contrast and a very comfortable 62° field of view..... (currently I only own this and an ES 82° 24 mm eyepiece , which is the best ep in this range in my opinion compared to various more expensive models I have owned) as an added bonus this 32 mm ep is parfocal with my ES 24 mm 82° eyepiece , so very easy to interchange.... I also appreciate the simple basic design , its waterproof so it's easy to clean , there's no sliding adjustable lens, just a simple fall down rubber light guard, and the free bolt case is a nice touch...
