Replacement Eyepiece for Celestron Regal Spotting Scope
Pros: Cons: Comments:I don't believe this matches the quality that comes with the scope. Used for digiscoping and videos and pictures not as sharp as the original

Jun 29, 2018Zoom Eyepieces
Pros: Cons: Comments:I recently purchased 8 Starguide 8-24 mm zoom eyepieces for our library scope program. These eyepieces are the perfect fit for any 1.25 inch kit, as no other eyepieces are needed unless you want very wide field views.

Feb 24, 2018Great Eyepiece
Pros: Cons: Comments:Very fast shipping(faster then a speeding Comet).
Bottom Line: Would you recommend this item? Yes
This eyepiece is just what I needed, clear and bright.
So easy to use. At this price there are none better. This review was provided courtesy of AgenaAstro.com
Jan 30, 2015Primary Eyepiece
Pros:Compact,Easy to Use,Lightweight
Cons: Comments:I have two scopes, an 8 inch SCT and an 80 mm short tube refractor. I use this zoom lense as the primary eyepiece on both. It provides a wide angle view for acquiring objects and a zoom capability for close up views without changing lenses. It works great!

Jun 16, 2014Best Zoom for the money! No doubt!
Pros:Easy to Use,Sharp,No Ca,Accurate,Quality Lenses,Strong Construction,Compact,Lightweight
Cons: Comments:This is best to use for planet and star observations. It splits perfect the double double and Izar (Epsilon Bootis) with Barlow 2X-3X in my F/9 ED refractor. And what is intresting about this its also sharp to the edge to edge and No CA!
Bottom Line: Would you recommend this item? Yes
Only cons is the FOA in 24 mm. Apart from that it is perfect. As I said in begining, it's perfect for the planets and star splitting.
If someone looking for a Zoom eyepiece for budget price and Pentax quality, this is IT!
This is a keeper for me. Highly recommended from me to all of you stargazers. This review was provided courtesy of AgenaAstro.com
Feb 7, 2014Zoom Eyepiece
Pros:Easy to Use,Strong Construction
Cons: Comments:For the money this eyepiece can't be beat. Crisp views, and easy to focus. Of course there are higher price eyepieces with similar focal lengths out there but I can't imagine that they yield 4 to 5 times better views. This one does all that I expect from a zoom eyepiece

Dec 2, 2013Highly Recommended Eyepiece.
Pros:Accurate,Easy to Use,Quality Lenses,Strong Construction
Cons: Comments:I have used this eyepiece everytime I have used my 10" Dobsonian telescope since I receive it. Works perfectly with the moon, Jupiter and Saturn. Glad I purchased this eyepiece.

Nov 29, 2013Quite surprised with the image quality
Pros:Strong Construction,Lightweight,Quality Lenses,Easy to Use
Cons:Strong Construction,Lightweight,Quality Lenses,Easy to Use
Comments:I bought this zoom eyepiece to use for outreach events when people want to see something and then move on. This eyepiece lets me frame medium to high magnification views without having to reach for another EP. I do not use this for low power, wide field viewing. The build quality is nice. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the image. I performed some side by side testing with comparable FL Plossl EP's. It was hard to detect any difference in the image quality. If this EP had a wider FOV, it would have received five stars without question.

Oct 28, 2011Zoom, zoom, zoom...!
Pros:Easy to Use,Quality Lenses
Cons:Heavy
Comments:I bought this to replace broken zoom eyepiece I got from Apogee at an excellent price some years ago. That eyepiece was lighter and smaller than the Celestron and I rate overall superior to the Celestron. However, this eyepiece fits the bill nicely.

May 3, 2011Great performance
Pros:Versatile,Quality Lenses
Cons:None
Comments:I bought this for two purposes. The first is for visual use in my spotting scope. The other is for Digiscoping through the spotting scope. This eyepiece works great for both purposes. About 8 years ago I bought a Vixen Non Click Stop 8-24mm Zoom for $219. I sold that many years ago so I am going on memory only but this zoom performs as good or better as I remember the Vixen doing. The eyepiece also includes integrated t-threads on the upper barrel. Removing the rubber eyeguard exposes the t-threads. There is some vignetting using my DSLR, but nothing major and it is totally expected given the 1.25" format. The zoom action is smooth and much easier to turn than the Vixen that I had before. Great product at twice the price and a real bargain.
