    I have been a backyard astronomer for over 40 years and I am glad to see a new place to share the awesome hobby we all enjoy. Looking forward to seeing lots of posts and questions to answer. I hope I can help out.

    I don't hold myself to one type of observing, I observe everything. Solar, Lunar, Planets, Double stars and Deep Sky. For me, that's where the real joy of this hobby lies.
